The Zipper

Our little new arrival is here! His name is "Zipper" and he got here last night. The kids have had a blast and we like him too.

Grandma was here for the occasion, but with her dark clothes it is difficult to see that Zipper is on her lap. He took a nice nap on her lap.

The Christmas Surprise

The big surprise of the day.....
Kimara has finally given in and said the family could get a dog. She decided to let the family know by a letter on Christmas morning with a picture of the newly born puppy. Here are some pictures of that....



As you can see, Dave was all smiles. When Jake and Katie figured it out, Katie was excited and Jake teared up a little. The surprise went over well and we will now prepare for the day we can bring our new friend home in a few weeks.

We made our gingerbread house December 23rd. This was the first time we made one. The kids loved it and wanted to show you all their creation.
Mom did the icing and the kids did the candy with help from Dad. Grandma brought us the kit :-)
